Why Bamboo Slats
Fabric-only rolls cram bristles flat, bending and crushing fine brush tips. These rigid bamboo strips hold each brush separated. Air flows freely, so damp bristles dry without mildew, and maintain their original pointed shape between uses. This is the classic scholar’s design, unchanged for centuries.
How to Use
Lay the brushes flat with bristles pointing toward the tied end. Roll it gently, fasten the cord. Carry it to your desk or pack it away. Unroll fully after use if brushes are still slightly damp.
Care
Wipe bamboo with a soft dry cloth. Keep away from prolonged soaking. Let it air dry fully if wet. Natural bamboo will slowly develop a warm patina over time.
A Note on Natural Variation
Each slat comes from natural bamboo. Colour, grain and faint nodal marks differ from piece to piece; these are not flaws, but part of its character.
