How Sandalwood Should Be Burned
Light the tip, let the flame run five seconds, blow it out. The stick should glow without flame and release a thin, steady thread of smoke. If it smokes thick and black, it is burning, not smoldering — relight and blow out sooner.
Where It Belongs
Sandalwood has been the temple and study wood in Asia for centuries, and it still does its original job: a quiet room, one stick, nothing else. It layers well — our blended-incense pellets and cone incense share the same wood base.
Storage
Sealed, cool, dry — the tube it arrives in is the right home. Sandalwood deepens slightly with age, like a good cedar chest.
